Bedstraw, Catchweed

Catchweed Bedstraw is an annual weed that is common throughout the west. Commonly found in hay and grain. It is a tangling plant that can grow up to 80 inches long. The stems are square with downward pointing bristles. Leaves are stiff and hairy mostly in whorls of 6 to 8. Flowers are small and white in color.
