Bindweed, Field

A perennial. It is deep rooted with extensive underground branching that competes with field crops. On the surface it can grow up to 6’ vines. Long vines climb on crop and other plants shading them. Flowers are bell shaped, like a petunia, about 1’ across and pink or white in color. Field Bind Weed spreads by seed, by root fragments, animals and machinery.
