Curly Indigo

An annual herb and considered a noxious weed, in the legume family. Commonly found in moist to wet soils. This plant spreads by seed. Leaves are alternate bipinnate leaflets about ¼” long. Leaflets are oblong in shape. Leaves are occasionally sensitive to touch, folding when touched. Flower is yellow to whitish and pea like in shape. This plant is nodulating and nitrogen fixing.
