English Daisy

A perennial and is considered an escaped ornamental. It is found in meadows, lawns and other grassy areas. It grows from short creeping rhizomes into basal rosettes with small hairy, smooth edged spoon shaped leaves. The leaves are evergreen, green throughout the year, and about 8” long. Flowers are on about 12” tall stems and with yellow center discs and surrounded by white ray of florets.
