Flixweed

A winter annual, commonly found in waste areas, fields, roadsides. It reproduces from seed. It reaches up to 2’ tall, on erect, hairy stems that can be branched. Leaves are alternate, 2 to 4 pinnuately compound. Small flowers bloom May to October. They have long flower stems with yellow flower clusters. Flixweed is fatally toxic to cattle when flowering plants are consumed.
