Peppergrass

Peppergrass is a biennial species of plant that can get 8-18 inches in height. When it reaches maturity it can have a bushy appearance. The leaves are up to 3 inches long and ¾ of an inch in width and are usually obovate in shape. The larger leaves of the plant have some serration toward the tip of the leaves. The stems of the plant are green to reddish-pink in color and are covered with fine white hairs that give it a hairy appearance. Each of the flowers has 4 white petals that are less than 1/8 of an inch wide. The plant flowers from May-October. The plant also has a flattened seedpod that is oval in shape and has a notch at the tip of the pod.
