Pepperweed

Pepperweed is an annual plant in the northern areas of the US, while a biennial in the southern regions. The plant grows to a height of 4-18 inches, growing out a single stem, then branching out at the top. The leaves of the plant are oblanceolate, up to 4 inches long with lobes that have serrated edges. The leaves usually fall before fruiting. The flowers of the plant are at the ends of the branches and are green cylindrical made up of small flowers.
