Pineappleweed

Pineappleweed

Pineappleweed is an annual species of plant with very finely dissected leaves that give off the odor of pineapple when crushed. The plant grows to a height of up to 16 inches. Pineappleweed is commonly found in all areas of the United States. The leaves of the plant are alternately place along the stem around 1-2 inches long. The flowers of the plant are yellow and cone shaped. They look similar to a coneflower, but differ in that they are smaller and look like that they have been cut in half.
